DAN VILLAGE-– Police are searching for a 22-year-old man who is alleged to have set his sister’s house alight following a domestic dispute at Dan Village on Thursday, 8 January.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly had an altercation with his sister. The woman then rushed to the police station to report the matter. It is further alleged that while she was away, the suspect returned to the property and set the house on fire.
The motive behind the altercation is not known at this stage. The woman was reportedly left shocked after returning from the police station to find her house engulfed in flames.
Police have opened a case of arson, and investigations are currently underway.
Authorities are appealing to the suspect,
identified as Katekani Ramoshaba, to present himself to the police.
