Housebreaking suspects on the loose after escaping from Namakgale Police station

NAMAKGALE-Police in Namakgale are searching for two male suspects who escaped from custody in the holding cells at Namakgale.

Thabang monareng known as Koporo from Mashishimale and Lefa Malatji from Namakgale are reported to have been escaped while been escorted from charge office to the police van to be detained in other police station on Saturday, October 08 at around 1:00.

Both suspects are facing house breaking charges.

Namakgale Police Station Sergeant Lebogang Selepe said the South African Police Service were working around the clock to hunt down the pair but help from the community will speed up the investigations.

“The Police are appealing to the public to assist with any information that may lead to the re-arrest of this four”

“A case of escape from lawful custody was immediately opened and furthermore the Police are probing circumstances surrounding how they managed to escape, while police are still in pursuit of him,” Selepe said.
