Ramokako-born EFF leader gets a national Assembly nod

KA – XIKWAMBANA-Former leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command, Mandla Shikwambana has been included in the national assembly of the party.

The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon.

Born and bred at Ka – Xikwambana ( Ramokako village ) in Greater Tzaneen, the charismatic politician will now rub shoulders with the who is who in the Parliament.

‘The Crocodile’, as he is fondly known, is the former Student president of the University of Venda and most recently, the national student president of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

Shikwambana has been included in the party’s national assembly alongside, Mzwanele Manyi, who recently joined EFF on the 5th of May from the African Transmission Movement ( ATM )

Also included in the national assembly is former musician, Eugene Mthethwa, who is from a popular Kwaito group, Trompies.

The changes at the National Assembly were effective from the 1st of June 2023.
