NWAMITWA – A newborn baby girl was found abandoned at Msiphani Village, next to Grace Mugodeni Health Centre, on Sunday morning, November 2.

According to reports, the infant — believed to be just a day old — was discovered by a passerby, clothed and left near the roadside. Concerned residents quickly alerted the community after realising the baby had been abandoned.

The child was immediately taken to a nearby clinic for medical assessment and is said to be in good health.

Residents of Msiphani and surrounding villages are appealing to the public for help identifying or locating the baby’s mother.
