TZANEEN – Bolobedu-born forward Ranga Chivaviro continues to impress in Saudi Arabia after scoring his sixth goal in just seven matches for Al-Adalah in the Saudi First Division.
Chivaviro was on target once again on Sunday night at the King Abdullah Stadium, opening the scoring for Al-Adalah in their 2–1 defeat to Al-Arabi. Despite the loss, the Kgapane-born striker’s fine goal-scoring form remained a major talking point.
The former Kaizer Chiefs attacker joined Al-Adalah earlier this season following his departure from Amakhosi, and he has quickly settled into life in Saudi Arabia. His latest strike takes his tally to six goals in seven starts, underlining an impressive start to his new chapter abroad.
Chivaviro joined Kaizer Chiefs from Marumo Gallants ahead of the 2023/24 season on a two-year deal. During his time at Naturena, he scored nine goals and registered one assist in 45 official matches across all competitions.
While expectations were high following his prolific spell at Gallants – where he netted 17 goals in all competitions – the 32-year-old struggled to consistently replicate that form at Chiefs.
Now plying his trade in the Saudi First Division, Chivaviro appears revitalised, rediscovering the goal-scoring touch that once made him one of the most feared forwards in local football.
