POLOKWANE-A South African National Parks (SANParks) senior manager in the environmental crime investigation unit based in Pretoria, Kobus de Wet, has died after being attacked by a hippo on Saturday, August 12.
The SANParks spokesperson, Isaac Phaahla, said De Wet was camping with his wife in the Kruger National Park.
He further stated that details around the attack are sketchy at this stage. However, the incident is under investigation.
