TICKYLINE-Limpopo’s renowned podcast host and MC, Richy B, has made a bold decision to withdraw his support for Moruti Pula’s building project, citing ongoing issues with the pastor’s behavior.
The decision, which he made public through a heartfelt social media statement, has sent shockwaves through their community, leaving many disappointed and questioning the future of the project.
In the video shared on his platforms, Richy B explained that while he initially wanted to help Pula, things took a turn when the two failed to agree on compensation for Pula’s appearance at one of Richy B’s events.
According to Richy B, they had a conversation about Pula attending the event, but after failing to reach a clear agreement on payment, Richy B offered to give him something as a gesture of goodwill.
However, despite this, Richy B was unable to arrange transportation to pick up Pula on the day of the event.
Things escalated when Moruti Pula reportedly began demanding R3,000, claiming that Richy B had used his name to promote the event without compensating him.
In a screenshot shared by Richy B, their conversation is shown, revealing the tension between the two men. Pula’s claims that he was owed money for his name being used on promotional materials did not sit well with Richy B, leading to his decision to cut ties with the pastor.
In his emotional post, Richy B expressed regret for letting down his supporters, especially individuals like Mama Beka, Prophet Tshepo, and others who had contributed towards the construction of Moruti Pula’s house.
He acknowledged that many would be disappointed by his decision to withdraw from the project but made it clear that he could no longer tolerate what he perceived as false accusations, threats, and harassment from Pula.
Richy B further revealed that despite his withdrawal from the project, Pula continued to press for the R3,000 payment.
He also alleged that Pula was now claiming that donations for his building project were being funneled through an FNB account, accusing Richy B of misappropriating funds. According to Richy B, these claims were completely false and baseless.
The podcast host expressed frustration over the lack of gratitude from Pula, stating that his efforts—such as collecting and transporting electricity materials for the project at his own expense—were not being acknowledged.
Richy B’s emotional message concluded with a poignant metaphor: “I’m not a failure, you can take it to the river, but you can’t force it to drink the water,” signaling his final decision to step back and end his involvement with the project.
