Missing Bolobedu man found dead at the graveyard

BOLOBEDU- A 70-year-old man who was reported missing on Wednesday, July 20 in Ga-Thako village found dead at the graveyard.

The lifeless body of Matome Masenamela was found in a partially dug hole at the graveyard in Relela village near Manareng under Greater Tzaneen Municipality, on Thursday, July 28, after the family instituted a search operation.

The family members found him dead in a bushy half dug grave without pants and shoes after 9 days of missing.

According to a family member, on Wednesday they searched him at the exact area where his body was found dead on Thursday but could not find him.

It is said that the 70-year-old disabled man was not for the first time found missing at this area, as he once went missing and was found at a certain place of residence not far from the graveyard.

” We are surprised when he always goes missing and is found in this area, as far as i know the family never had a place of residence in that area” the family said.

His body was found with no injuries and cause of death is yet established.

Bolobedu Police spokesperson Constable Khomotso Hlokwe confirmed that an inquest docket has been opened.
