LETSTELE – A man was rushed to hospital after he was struck by a minibus taxi on the Rigorigo–Letsitele road on Friday, 23 January.
According to an eyewitness, the incident was preceded by an altercation between the man and his wife while they were travelling in their vehicle.
The disagreement reportedly led to a minor accident involving their car, but neither of them was injured at the time.
Moments later, the man allegedly noticed an oncoming minibus taxi and ran into the road, where he was hit by the vehicle.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, the man was found lying injured in the middle of the road. He was stabilised and transported to hospital for medical treatment. His condition has not yet been disclosed.
Police attended the scene and have launched an investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
