TZANEEN – The Greater Tzaneen Municipality has expressed deep sorrow following the passing of Brenda Mathebula (39), who worked in the municipality’s Roads & Building Division.
She passed away on Sunday, 7 September 2025.
In a statement, the municipality described Mathebula as a valued colleague whose dedication and contribution will be fondly remembered.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who worked closely with her during this difficult time. May her soul rest in peace,” the municipality said.
The memorial service for Mathebula will be held on Thursday, 11 September 2025, at Nkowankowa Community Hall, starting at 12h00.
Her funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, 13 September 2025. Proceedings will begin at 06h30 from her home at Stand No. 1049, Dan (Rhulani), next to Teba, before moving to Nkowankowa Community Hall at 07h00, and thereafter to Malakia Cemetery for burial.
