MOOKETSI-On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Limpopo Province organized a protest march to ZZ2 Farms, a major agricultural enterprise in the country.

The demonstration aimed to address concerns over alleged worker exploitation, restricted access to ancestral graves, and inadequate water supply to Black communities.

The march commenced at 10:00 AM from the Mooketsi Informal Settlement, with participants proceeding towards ZZ2 Farms.

The EFF has previously highlighted issues related to labor conditions and community rights in the area. In a past demonstration, the party presented a memorandum to ZZ2, demanding improved working and living conditions for farm workers, citing reports of alleged racism and exploitation.

EFF Limpopo’s official social media channels announced the march, emphasizing their commitment to advocating for the rights of workers and marginalized communities.

As of now, ZZ2 Farms has not issued a public response to the latest demonstration. The EFF has indicated that further actions may follow if their concerns are not addressed.
