GA-DIKGALE – The Mahlatse ke Lerato Disability Centre in Ga-Dikgale has welcomed a donation from Eskort Polokwane on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.

The centre, based in a rural part of Polokwane, runs a skills transfer project aimed at empowering people living with disabilities and currently supports more than 50 beneficiaries.

Speaking during the handover, Abram Maila from the Come Together CBOs Consortium said the centre cares for individuals aged between 19 and 55, equipping them with skills such as gardening, carpeting, beadwork, and cooking.

“We would like to welcome the donation from Eskort Polokwane, which includes chairs, food parcels, clothing, and doors to help complete our structure,” said Maila.

Eskort Polokwane Retail Assistant Manager, Hlulani Chauke, expressed appreciation for the opportunity to give back to the community.

“We believe the donation will go a long way in empowering the centre,” Chauke concluded.

As part of the Feed to the Future campaign, Eskort Polokwane donated food parcels, clothing, sanitary towels, and other essential materials to support the centre and its programmes.

The initiative was driven by Eskort Polokwane management and employees, in collaboration with community stakeholders.
