POLOKWANE – Popular media personality, Junior “Hunadi The Host” Letsoalo, has announced that she will be stepping away from the limelight to focus on her mental and emotional well-being following a wave of social media abuse.
The Ga-Mathabatha-born radio and events host made the revelation through a statement released by her company, Hunadi Communications, on Saturday.
Her decision comes after she was wrongfully accused of influencing the nomination process for the much-talked-about Thobela FM Sepedi Music Awards.
“Given the recent social media uproar, attacks and insults directed at me, I must acknowledge that this situation has taken a toll on me both emotionally and mentally,” said Hunadi in her statement.
As part of her temporary withdrawal, Hunadi has also postponed her highly anticipated event, “DiDOEKUNG LE HUNADI The Host,” which was initially set to take place on November 8th at Polokwane Cricket Club.
“We are currently looking at 29th November 2025, subject to venue availability,” the statement read.
Hunadi expressed deep gratitude to her loyal supporters for their unwavering love throughout her career and during this difficult period.
“I truly appreciate the support and encouragement from everyone who has stood by me. Your love means more than you know,” she concluded.
Fans across social media have since rallied behind her, sending messages of strength and positivity as she takes time to heal and regroup.
