MOHLATLARENG – Three people were rushed to hospital following a head-on collision involving a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota hatch back on D3889 Maake Road near Kings Liquor on Saturday afternoon.
It is alleged that a speeding Toyota Hatch back, driving from the Tickyline side, lost control and collided with a Toyota Corolla travelling from Sunnyside.
The impact left three people injured.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and stabilised two occupants from the Toyota hatchback and one from the Toyota, before transporting them to CN Phatudi Hospital for further treatment.
Authorities have urged motorists to reduce their speed and remain vigilant, especially during busy afternoon traffic on this road.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
