SENWABARWANA – Three young women sustained injuries on Thursday afternoon after jumping from a moving vehicle in Marobjane, outside Senwabarwana.
According to reports, the trio had hitchhiked a lift from Ga-Machaba, but during the journey, the driver allegedly attempted to drive off with them, sparking panic.
Fearing for their safety, the girls leapt from the moving car, sustaining various injuries in the process.
Authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and to trace the driver involved.
Community members are urged to remain vigilant when accepting lifts from strangers and to report any suspicious drivers or unsafe transport practices to local authorities.
