According to reports, the deceased was a part of a group of ‘golden boys and girls’, who were travelling to Mpumalanga for a Church activity, when their bus overturned, due to a tyre puncture.
The MEC learned of this accident on Friday evening, and has sent messages of condolences to the families of the victims, and also wished a speedy recovery to the survivors.
The MEC has expressed her sadness over this incident, which claimed the lives of elderly citizens who were travelling to a place of worship.
