MAGOEBSKLOOF – Emergency services have responded to a developing incident on the R71 in Magoebaskloof, where multiple explosions and a fire have been reported near Ruskamp late this evening.
According to early reports, the cause of the explosions is still unknown, but authorities have closed the R71 to traffic in both directions as a safety precaution. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area until further notice.
All emergency units, including firefighters, paramedics, and traffic authorities, are currently on scene or en route to assist with containing the situation and ensuring public safety.
