MOLETJIE: Following weeks of boardroom drama, Magesi have been given the right to represent Limpopo at the ABC Motsepe League National playoffs.
The Moletjie – based side were in a battle with Mpheni Home Defenders in order to be crowned the Champions of Limpopo.
The Elim outfit initially defeated Magesi 1 – 0 in the Provincial playoff final in Giyani on the 7th of May.
Magesi then launched a complaint to SAFA Limpopo, accusing Mpheni of fielding an illegible player in their victory at their Provincial playoff.
After weeks of bickering, Magesi were awarded the right to represent the province at the national playoffs, much to the dismay of Mpheni Home Defenders, who have recently vowed to sell their ABC Motsepe League status.
Dikwena Tša Meetse will be looking for a repeat of the 2016 National playoffs when they were promoted to the National First Division.
