Bolobedu taxi association (BUTA) mourns death of Modjadjiskloof queue marshall

MODJADJISKLOOF – The Bolobedu Taxi Association is mourning the passing of Modjadjiskloof queue marshall Makgate Matome Lawrence (45), affectionately known as Peace Mloro within the taxi industry.

Makgate, from Ga-Sekgopo, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and respect among taxi operators, commuters, and colleagues.

He worked as a queue marshall for more than eight years, earning admiration for his discipline, calm nature, and commitment to ensuring smooth taxi operations in the busy Modjadjiskloof rank.

Community members and the association have expressed deep sorrow, describing him as a hardworking man who brought order and reliability to the rank.

Makgate will be laid to rest on Sunday, November 23 at 06:30 in Ga-Sekgopo, Makhabeni.
