LEBOWAKGOMO -The Police in Lebowakgomo have arrested a 19-year-old man for raping two minors aged 7 and 9 at Makotse new stand in Lebowakgomo on Wednesday, 31st December 2025.
The complainant, on behalf of the victims, approached police station client service center, commonly known as (CSC) with the victims and the suspect.
The victims, a girl(7) and boy(9) were playing with their friends at the neighbour’s place when the suspect lured them to his place of residence.
On their arrival he allegedly showed them pornographic pictures before reportedly raping them.
Police say the guardian noticed that the victims were missing and she became suspicious, then searched for them at their neighbour’s place.
She found the victims crying and when she asked what happened, they told her that the suspect had raped them.
A case of rape was opened and the suspect was subsequently arrested on the spot for rape.
He will appear before Lebowakgomo Magistrate court on Friday, 2nd January on two counts of rape.
