MOKGOLOBOTO – Lekompo pioneer Khutso Kgatle, popularly known as King Monada, has officially released his highly anticipated album I Khant Do Dhis Animo, much to the excitement of fans across the country.
The album dropped at midnight on Friday, 14 November, and immediately began generating buzz among music lovers, with many praising Monada’s signature sound and fresh collaborations.
Ahead of the release, the award-winning artist hosted an exclusive listening session in Tzaneen on Thursday evening, attended by close friends, media, and industry colleagues who got the first taste of the new project.
The 10-track album includes songs such as Feelings, Mmapula, and Molobedu, showcasing his unique blend of Lekompo rhythms and storytelling.
Monada teams up with Skeem Saam actress Amanda Manku on two standout tracks — the potential hit Sleep Over and Baby Pele. He also collaborates with Mickeyblack on Ke Baby Waka and Popa, adding vocal diversity to the project.
Fan favourite Shandesh The Vocalist appears on I Deserve Better, a soulful track that has already gained traction, further proving Monada’s versatility and ability to evolve with each project.
The album release also sets the tone for his upcoming One Man Show, scheduled for 30 December at Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen, where fans can expect live performances of the new hits.
