Paramount Skydance has confirmed that it will join HBO Max, Paramount+ and Discovery+ into a single streaming service. Both HBO and Paramount used to supply content to DStv, MyBroadband reported.

The company said the move should cut down on the number of separate apps viewers need. It said one service would also make things simpler for users. The report was first carried by Ars Technica.

The streaming news came in a daily roundup that also covered a warning about artificial intelligence from billionaire investor Ray Dalio.

Dalio said the AI boom is a “classic bubble” that is nearing a point where it could burst. He said rising interest rates were making it more expensive to borrow money.

According to Bloomberg, Dalio said huge AI spending paid for with debt could trigger a collapse. He said pressure to turn wealth into cash could add to that risk.
