NKOWANKOWA- A motorist allegedly knocked a pedestrian down at Madala Station, Nkowankowa, this afternoon.
Reports allege that the motorist, driving a black Toyota Yaris, forcibly forced the evidently injured pedestrian into his car and sped off from the accident scene.
A concerned resident claims that the motorist could be concealing evidence because he acted suspiciously, and it is unknown where he drove off to the victim.
“We witnessed the accident, but we became concerned when the motorist immediately got out of his car, forcibly pushed the victim into his car, and sped off,”he said
It is reported that police vans were in the vicinity were flagged down. However, no assistance was forthcoming.
Concerned residents want the vehicle tracked down, and the victim tended to.
