GA-SEKORORO – In a chilling incident of gender-based violence, a man allegedly shot and killed his wife and her sister before turning the gun on himself at Bochabelo Village in Ga-Sekororo on Sunday, October 19.
The suspect, identified as Pitsi Malepe, originally from Sedawa, is alleged to have shot the two women before posting a disturbing message on Facebook that read:
“Rest in peace, my love. These are the works of you and your mother.”
A video currently circulating on social media shows the man returning to the scene, threatening police officers and bystanders while accusing the police of damaging his car.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that he later turned the gun on himself.
Police have not yet released an official statement on the incident.
