SESHEGO : A 22-year-old male suspect, a stepbrother to the victim was arrested for raping his 11-year-old girl, stepsister, and will appear before Seshego District Court on Monday 14, October 2024 on charges of rape.
It is reported that, the victim’s mother received a call from school urging that she report to school. When the mother arrived at school, the victim’s teacher informed her that her daughter claimed that she had been raped by her stepbrother.
When she reached home, she wanted to hear from the daughter, who confirmed that she had been raped multiple times by her stepbrother.
On 23 September 2024, the suspect allegedly entered the victim’s room, undressed her, and raped her.
When the mother of the victim confronted him with the allegations, he denied them.
The mother then reported the incident to the police on Friday, 11 October 2024, and the docket was transferred to Seshego FCS for further investigations.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday, 12 October 2024.
The suspect is expected to appear before Seshego District Court on Monday, 14 October 2024, for charges of rape.
