A Finnish electronics retailer has released a joke contract to help couples agree on gaming time when Grand Theft Auto VI comes out. The company, Gigantti, put the written agreement on its website, IOL reported.

The document is called the Grand Game Deal. It lets one partner set out how much time they may spend playing the new game. In return, the gamer has to offer something to the other partner.

“Gigantti is always on the gamer’s side, but never at the expense of peace at home. When gaming time has been agreed in black and white, the drama stays on the screen instead of spilling into the living room,” said Sami Särkelä, marketing head at Gigantti.

The contract comes in three versions. They are called Easy, Normal and Hard.

The Easy version covers only the day the game launches. The Normal version covers the whole launch week.

The Hard version gives the gamer a full month of gaming without being disturbed. It also asks the most from the player in return.

Under the Hard deal, the gamer picks from a list of things to give their partner. These include doing household chores, buying gifts and spending quality time together. Both partners can also agree on other gestures.

IOL reported that some gamers plan to take time off work for the release. The contract gives couples a way to settle gaming time before the game arrives.

Anyone who wants to use the agreement can download it from the Gigantti website. IOL described the contract as a tongue-in-cheek way to keep the peace at home.

Grand Theft Auto VI is made by Rockstar Games. It is one of the most awaited video games of the decade, according to IOL.

Rockstar Games describes the game as an open-world crime adventure. It is set in Leonida, a made-up state based on Florida.

The game marks a return to Vice City, a city known for its neon-lit streets. Players follow two main characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Their crimes pull them into a bigger plot, according to the developer. Players can expect action, driving and exploring a detailed world with a strong story.

The game also includes Rockstar’s usual dark humour and jokes about modern society.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release on Thursday, 19 November 2026. It will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
