Family Stranded Following Devastating House Fire in Nwamitwa

NWAMITWA – A family of six has been left homeless and destitute after a fierce fire gutted their home in Msiphani A, Nwamitwa, under the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, on Saturday evening.

The Baloyi family — consisting of both parents and four children aged between 2 and 15 years — are still in shock as they try to come to terms with the tragic loss. The blaze consumed everything they owned, leaving them with no shelter or belongings.

At the time of reporting, the cause of the fire remains unknown,  The family is currently seeking urgent assistance from the community and any good Samaritans.

“We have lost everything — our clothes, food, furniture, and even school uniforms and books for the children,” said one of the family members. “We don’t know where to sleep tonight.”

The family has made a desperate plea for support with essentials such as shelter, food, clothing, school supplies, and emotional support as they try to rebuild their lives.
