South African model Candice Swanepoel walked the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sunday, 18 October. Kylie Jenner closed the show wearing the Fantasy Bra, The South African reported.
The show took place at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. South African fans could watch it live on YouTube in the early hours of Monday, 19 October.
Swanepoel grew up in Mooi River in KwaZulu-Natal. She wore several looks during the show, including a shiny gold outfit, according to The South African.
She walked with other well-known Victoria’s Secret models. They included Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Joan Smalls.
Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Paloma Elsesser, Anok Yai, Liu Wen and Alex Consani also walked the runway.
The last look of the night went to Jenner, who is 29. It was her first time on the runway. She wore the diamond Fantasy Bra with white angel wings.
The bra is valued at $50 million, which is about R823 million. The South African said this makes it the most valuable Fantasy Bra ever made.
The piece was made with a luxury jewellery house. It has diamonds in many shapes and sizes. Its main stone is a yellow diamond, reportedly worth about $22 million, or around R362 million.
According to reports, Jenner is the first model from outside the official Victoria’s Secret line-up to wear the bra. Some fans asked on social media why the honour did not go to one of the show’s long-time models.
A Fantasy Bra had not been seen on the runway since 2018, when Swedish model Elsa Hosk wore it. The tradition started in 1996 with supermodel Claudia Schiffer.
Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and her mother, Kris Jenner, watched from the crowd. Actress Nicole Kidman and singer Tinashe were also in the audience.
Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner, was not at the show. Kendall has walked for Victoria’s Secret before.
This was the first time in 19 years that the show was held in Los Angeles. It was also the third show since the brand brought back its runway event in 2024, after a break of several years.
