Tzaneen Voice is a South African news website. We publish short news reports in plain English on national news and politics, sport, business, entertainment and technology.
How our stories are made
Every story starts from a report that has already been published, either by another news outlet or by SAnews.gov.za, the South African Government News Agency. We find these reports through Google News and the SAnews feed. An AI writing system then writes a new, shorter article in simple English, based on that report.
Each article ends with a link to the original report and names the outlet it came from. If you want the full story, the quotes in context or more detail, the original report is the best place to read it.
Articles are published automatically. We do not do our own on-the-ground reporting, interviews or investigations.
Our bylines
Each section is published under one desk byline. These are pen names for the section desks, not staff reporters. The byline tells you which section a story belongs to.
