16-Year-Old Girl Among Three Mothers Welcoming Christmas Babies at Dr CN Phatudi Hospital

MAKHUBIDUNG--Dr CN Phatudi Hospital at Makhubidung village in Greater Tzaneen was filled with joy and celebration this Christmas as three mothers welcomed their newborns on December 25.

Among the mothers was a 16-year-old girl from Mohlahlareng Village, who gave birth to a baby girl named Tercia.

The other two mothers were a 20-year-old from Lephephane Village, who welcomed a baby boy named Happy, and a 39-year-old from Pharare Village, who gave birth to a baby girl named Keabetswe.

To mark the special occasion, the Greater Tzaneen Municipality presented each mother with a thoughtful hamper filled with essential baby items, including a bathing basin, baby vests, blankets, sanitary towels, wipes, diapers, baby lotions, and baby grows.

In a heartfelt speech during the celebration, Councillor Gezani Makhubele said, “The birth of these babies on Christmas Day is a reminder of the hope and joy that comes with new life. As the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, we are honored to share in these families’ happiness and to extend our support through these gifts. We thank CN Phatudi Hospital for their excellent service and Miss Glamorous Limpopo for joining us in this celebration.”

The mothers expressed their deep gratitude for the support and warm gestures. One of the mothers shared, “We are truly grateful for the municipality’s visit and the generous gifts. It means so much to us, and it makes this day even more special. Thank you to the hospital staff for taking such good care of us.”

The event was attended by Councillor Gezani Makhubele, representatives from Miss Glamorous Limpopo, and staff from Dr CN Phatudi Hospital and the Greater Tzaneen Municipality. The celebration highlighted the sense of community and support that made this Christmas memorable for these families.
