MIDRAND-As the election results continue to come in, the fledgling Xiluva political party faces an uphill battle.

With 82.72% of voting districts counted, Xiluva has garnered only 1,812 votes nationally, placing it 50th out of 52 parties.

Despite the low vote count, Xiluva’s Presidential candidate, Bongani Baloyi, remains optimistic about the party’s prospects.

Baloyi expressed hope for a breakthrough, stating, “one or two of us will make it into parliament.” His statement reflects a belief in the potential for representation and the party’s long-term vision.
