GA-SEKGOPO- A 45-year-old woman in Ga-Sekgopo put up a spirited fight to overpower a man who attempted to rape her in the wee hours of this morning.
The evil man armed himself with a knife, thinking he would easily overpower a woman and satisfy his lust but the woman fought until he gave up.
It is alleged that the woman was asleep when she heard a knock on the door at around 4:am while she was surprised by the knock, the attacker forced his way into the house and started to take off his clothes to rape her.
But the brave woman fought back and overpowered the suspect, he ran away, leaving his clothes on the floor.
During the fight, the victim sustained injuries to her head and eyes.
The suspect is chubby with a mohawk dreadlock hairstyle.
Police are appealing to anyone who might have information that can assist in arresting the suspect to contact the nearest police station or to contact toll-free number.
