Woman Loses Finger in Alleged Attack by Boyfriend in Ga Mmaphala

TLHABINE-In a shocking incident on Monday evening, a woman in her late 30s was attacked and severely injured by her boyfriend in Ga Mmaphala, Tlhabine. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital following the assault.

The altercation reportedly began as the woman was on her way to a local shop. An argument ensued between the couple, escalating into a violent confrontation. The suspect, believed to be a foreign national, attacked the woman with a sharp object during the altercation.

As the situation grew dire, the woman cried out for help. Members of the community responded quickly and attempted to apprehend the suspect. However, he managed to flee the scene, disappearing into the darkness on foot.

Emergency services and police arrived to find the woman lying in a pool of blood, with one of her fingers severed. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care.
