GIYANI- A woman who is believed to be from Lulekani, outside Phalaborwa died during a head-on collision between Toyota Fortune and Corolla in Nsavulani village in Giyani on Friday, June 15.
The accident happened towards Nsavulani Village where a Toyota Fortune with 7 passengers including the driver collided head-on with Corolla with 4 passengers, including a driver and a toddler.
A female passenger from a Corolla died instantly and left her 4 months toddler that survived without injuries.
Both drivers and other passengers were rushed to the hospital. These include three children, one from Corolla and two from Fortuner.
The cause of the accident is still not clear at this stage. Giyani police proceeded with the investigation of culpable homicide.
“The name of the deceased cannot be released as members of her family are not yet informed about her death” quoted.
