Director of Wisani Kobus Venter said Wisani burial society has been operating in Phalaborwa for the last 15 years and they have struggled to get a facility that is suitable for their business but after a long time, they decided to take down the old building and build a new one.

Phalaborwa area manager Aren Mabunda is leading a team of energetic young people.

Wisani Burial Society and National Legal Aid recently joined hands in a combined effort to broaden both companies’ areas of service.

In doing so the two institutions  Wisani and NLA, instantly got access to branches in areas that were previously not covered by the said companies.

This has allowed Wisani clients to have access to Wisani at any National Legal Aid branch as well as NLA clients to have access to NLA at any Wisani branch.

Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality Mayor Meriam Malatji said they are happy with the investment that Wisani burial society has brought into the town of Phalaborwa as this is part of job creation by the private sector and she is happy that the company has employed a number of young people.

“Phalaborwa is open for business and businesspeople are encouraged to approach them when they want to invest in the town to help grow the economy of the town” Mayor said
