MYAKAYAKA VILLAGE-It is alleged that earlier this morning, 3 boys between the ages of 17 and 21 were chased by an irate mob and beaten at a local sports field in Myakayaka village near Tickyline under Greater Tzaneen.
This after it was suspected that the boys were the ones responsible for stealing cables in the area.
According to a community member, it is alleged that the boys were interrogated prior and confessed to the crime hence they were ambushed and attacked.
Police have restored calm in the village and the boys are detained at Maake police station.
