Unity Primary School Head Girl’s eyes set on Miss Limpopo crown

TZANEEN– The young beauty queen Tsakani Andries describes herself as an ambassador and a reputable motivational speaker for women.

The 13-year-old aspiring professional model, who hails from Medi- park, Tzaneen has broken into the top 40 of Miss Limpopo competition amongst 300 contestants to book her space to the 2022 competition semi-finals.

The young feminist says when she becomes Miss Limpopo in 2022, she will do her level best to better the lives of young girls in the rural areas.

As part of sharpening her profile as a professional model, the grade 7 learner at Unity Primary School undertaken a project of empowering young girls to become confident in their skin by donating some skincare essentials in Nhlavuko Day Care center located in Lusaka, Dan village in Greater Tzaneen Municipality on Friday, 22 October 2021.

Tsakani brightened the lives of both pupils and teachers with her tremendous donations of 38 packs of vaseline and lifebuoy bath soaps to pupils between 5 and 6 years old and set of wet wipes for each class and sweets for all pupils

” The reason I decided on this project is that I want to teach these young girls to care for their skin and love their bodies and instill confidence to become what they dream of” the beautiful Tsakani informed the publication.

She further added that problems associated with young girls in rural areas, are lack of information at a young age and her glory as Miss Limpopo will change the lives of many young disadvantaged girls in rural areas.

Andries is not just a beautiful young lady eyeing for the provincial crown, but also possesses leadership skills as she is the reigning Head girl at Unity Primary School for the 2021 academic year.

The top 20 of the Miss Limpopo competition is expected to be announced on Monday, 01 November 2021 and Tsakani is optimistic that she will make it to the next round.
