MAFUBE VILLAGE – A tragic incident has unfolded in the small village of Mafube, just outside Middelburg in Mpumalanga, where an unconfirmed number of learners are feared dead following a horrific collision between a scholar transport bus and a train.
Eyewitnesses at the scene have reported that several learners are still trapped inside the wreckage of the bus, with emergency services yet to arrive.
The bus was reportedly carrying learners from Moreig Primary and High School when it was struck by the train.
