GIYANI-A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death by his friend at Xitlakati village Giyani, on Saturday.
It is alleged that in the early hours of today, Saturday, March 04 the two friends were drinking together when an argument broke out between them,
During the heated exchange, the deceased allegedly pulled out the knife and stabbed to suspected in the forehead, in the process the accused managed to grab the knife from the deceased and stabbed him in the stomach.
The deceased was transported to the local clinic for medical treatment and later succumbed to stabbed wound injury.
The Cause of the argument is still unknown at this stage.
The police are requesting Mr Rocky Mabunda age 36 residing at Xitlakati village to avail himself in the nearest police station to assist the police with an investigation.
The deceased was identified as Given Robert Mathebula age 40 from Lulekani,
Giyani police have opened a case of Murder and a police investigation is underway.
