TZANEEN-Since the country has moved to Alert level one, the Department of Correctional services had to review its Covid-19 Risk-Adjusted strategy. In line with this review, The Tzaneen Correctional Centre is open for visitation between 9h00-15h00 on visit days.
The sentenced offenders may receive visits on Wednesday, Thursday, weekends, and public holidays. The Remands Detentions (RD’s) may receive visits on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays excluding public holidays.
According to the Department of Correctional services’ media statement, the public is urged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the scheduled visit time.
