GIYANI – A heart-wrenching accident occurred last night in Shikhumba village, where two young boys lost their lives in a head-on collision.
The incident, which took place near the small bridge close to Gandla Supermarket, also left three others severely injured.
The victims were traveling in a bakkie when the crash happened. Upon the arrival of emergency responders, it was evident that the two boys had suffered critical injuries and were beyond saving.
Meanwhile, the other three passengers were quickly rushed to the hospital for immediate medical care.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and the community is left in shock and mourning over the tragic loss.
