BA-PHALABORWA- Ba-Phalaborwa Municipal Public Account Committee (MPAC) visited several service delivery projects today, Monday, October 26.
During their visit, they confirmed that Mashishimale and Selwane Sports Complex are almost complete.
The visit was part of the committee’s oversight responsibility to oversee the projects implemented by the municipality and progress to ensure that finances are utilised for its specific purpose by the requirements.
The two sports complexes are nearing completion with less outstanding work that still needs to be done.
The committee also visited the Tambo Street upgrade in Namakgale where the contractor is already on site. Selwane Sports complex is expected to be completed by 17 December 2020.
The Chairperson of the committee, Cllr Kabelo Pilusa expressed his satisfaction with the work done by the contractors. “We are happy with the progress made so far since some of the projects are almost complete”.
