Two siblings who allegedly consumed snacks laid to rest

VREDEFORT-Two siblings who tragically died after consuming allegedly poisoned snacks were laid to rest in Mokwall in Vredefort, Free State on Saturday, 21 October.

The siblings had bought the snacks from a local spaza shop on Tuesday, October 17.

The heartbreaking funeral service of Palesa and her younger sister Bohlale Kutwane was held at a fully packed Mokwallo Multipurpose Centre.

Family and scores of mourners were gathered at the Mokwallo Multipurpose Centre where the funeral service for four-year-old Palesa and her three-year-old younger sister Bohlale Kutwane is being held.

The two siblings died earlier this week after consuming an expired snack from a local shop.

Residents have called for the permanent closure of shops owned by foreign nationals.
