MAWA BLOCK 12- The community members of Mawa block 12 under the Greater Letaba were left shocked on Sunday, June 19, after two pensioners were burnt to death inside their house.

According to preliminary police investigations, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a candle light. It is alleged that because there was load reduction, the two female victims, Phillipine Mamamila Mabunda(74) and Modjadji Navela Nkongwane(62) fell asleep in their room while the candle was still burning.
