POLOKWANE: The Magabane family hopes that justice will finally be served when a murder trial of Precious Magabane gets underway at Polokwane High Court on Monday, the 27th of June.
The 33-year-old was brutally killed by her Ashan Fraz Cheema alongside his co – accused on the 23rd of December 2018.
Cheema was arrested in February 2019 and led the police to a gruesome discovery of where he dumped Precious’ dismembered body and the shallow grave where he buried her head and intestines.
The two Pakistani suspects facing charges of murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, defeating the course of justice, unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition and illegal immigration.
Magabane’s skeletal remains are yet to be buried after going missing in a government mortuary in Lebowakgomo in 2020.
