TZANEEN-Two men were killed in an apparent hit-and-run incident on the R71 outside Tzaneen on Sunday Morning.
ER24 and the Provincial EMS arrived on the scene at 04h10 to find a bakkie in the slow. Two men were found lying ten metres away.
According to the paramedics, the two men were assessed and found that both had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
“Unfortunately, nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead” the medics said
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but Police are looking into how the accident happened. The identity of the deceased is not known and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact their nearest police station.
