Two African male have been arrested for possession of stolen avocados in Mooketsi

MOOKETSI-A police officer with three youth crime prevention members in Modjadjiskloof have arrested two African male for possession of avocados which they failed to account for.

Suspects were stopped by the Police at Mooketsi R81 and one suspect came out of the vehicle and ran towards the bush in one of the farms but was chased and arrested.

Suspects were arrested and detained and are awaiting their firt appearance in court.

Acting station commander Captain Raholane appreciated the good work done by social crime prevention and youth crime prevention members who go extra mile over they scope of work to prevent crime.

This should set a deterrence to those who are terrorizing our farmers by stealing from them.

We calling on all farmers at a nearby to come and identify the goods.

In other case, a suspect of assault with intention to caused grivious bodily harm was arrested at Sekgopo by the same team on same day after a case was opened on Monday the 19th. Suspect was traced and arrested.

Another suspect was arrested at Maboing GA Sekgopo on a complaint of domestic violence, suspect started fighting the police and interfering with their work. Victim requested that she only go do protection ordes and didn’t want to open a case.
