MAGOEBASKLOOF – A truck overturned on the R71 road near the popular lookout point in Magoebaskloof this morning, causing a temporary closure of the road.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene to manage traffic and assist with the recovery of the vehicle. At this stage, the condition of the driver is not yet known.
Authorities temporarily closed the R71 for the truck to be safely removed, but one lane has since been reopened.
Motorists are urged to proceed with caution when driving through the area, as recovery operations are still ongoing.
The cause of the accident remains unknown and investigations are underway.
