MODIMOLLE– Truck driver was seriously injured and a hippopotamus was killed in an accident on the R33 between Modimolle and Vaalwater.
The accident took place at 21:00 at the Wolvenfontein crossing about 5 kilometers out of Vaalwater.
It took 6 hours to release the driver from the truck and was taken to the hospital.
