MUSINA : Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani has arrived at the accident scene that occurred at R572 road between Venetia Mine and Musina in the Vhembe District.
MEC Radzilani is joined by the Executive Mayor of Vhembe , Dowelani Nenguda, Mayor of Musina Local Municipality, Cllr Godfrey Mawela and the Senior General Manager at Venetia Mine, Ntokozo Ngema.
The visit was able to establish that 20 people perished on the scene, and 2 passed on at the hospital.
The bus collided with a truck, before a massive inferno ignited.
Two of the deceased people are women who were travelling in the bus, according to spokesperson for the Limpopo department of transport and community safety Vongani Chauke.
The bus company have been Identified to be belonging to the Hope Diamond Transport.
The entourage will proceed to the Venetia Mine offices to get a full report regarding the accident. 20 people burnt to death
